DIPLOMAS AND CREDENTIALS
On Volta de Gloria, every step leaves a mark. Several official diplomas and certificates symbolise the spirit of the Camino: arrival, continuation, return and the Atlantic passage.
COMPOSTELA
The most universal recognition for pilgrims. It is obtained at the Pilgrim’s Office in Santiago.
100 km on foot/on horseback or 200 km by bicycle, with daily stamps from the final section before Santiago.
Pilgrim’s Office (Casa do Deán, Rúa das Carretas 33, Santiago). Open all year except 25/12 and 01/01.
FISTERRANA
A diploma that marks the end of the Camino... or the beginning of another one. It is issued in Fisterra.
Present the credential with the stamps from the section ending at Cape Fisterra.
Municipal Hostel (Rúa Real, 2) or Tourist Office (Praza da Constitución, 31), in Fisterra.
MÍTICA
Mítica is the diploma for those who complete the Mythical Way between Fisterra and Muros. It represents the spirit of the Camino that goes out and returns within Volta de Gloria.
No additional validation is required: it is stamped during the route itself and is therefore delivered in a diploma tube.
It is collected at Fisterra Lighthouse, together with a special diploma holder.
MUXIANA
Muxiana is the certificate that confirms arrival in Muxía after completing the Camino to this town on the Costa da Morte, linked to the Sanctuary of the Virxe da Barca and the Atlantic Jacobean tradition.
Present the pilgrim credential, duly stamped, proving passage through the corresponding stages to Muxía.
It is requested in Muxía, usually at the Tourist Office and, depending on availability, at other pilgrim assistance points.
PORTUS APOSTOLI
Portus Apostoli is a passage certificate linked to Noia and to the Camino da Ría de Muros-Noia, recalling the historical tradition of this port as a maritime gateway to the city of the Apostle.
Present the credential, duly completed and stamped, proving passage along the Camino da Ría de Muros-Noia and arrival in Noia.
It is issued in Noia, associated with the Portus Apostoli Pilgrim Hostel and the welcome points linked to the Camino da Ría de Muros-Noia.
