The stage connecting Fisterra with Muros is one of the
most striking and evocative sections of the entire Volta de Gloria.
Through untamed Atlantic landscapes, secluded coves, seafaring villages
and sacred mountains, this route follows the Costa da Morte as it transitions
towards the Rías Baixas.

What you will experience between Fisterra and Muros is a journey along the boundary between the ocean and the calm of the estuaries, a section where the wildest nature becomes a mirror of the walker’s soul.
As you move through pine forests, dunes and seafaring villages, the sea will accompany you with its constant murmur, while the Atlantic wind brings the scent of legends. Every step is an invitation to contemplate without haste, to pause and feel how the landscape breathes with you.
You will discover the power of Monte do Pindo, the murmur of the Ézaro Waterfall and the vastness of Carnota Beach, where sky and sand seem to merge. You will cross Corcubión and Cee, guardians of the harbour and ancient routes of seafarers.
The route culminates in the seafaring town of Muros, where stone and sea intertwine in an ancient whisper. There you will feel that this route does not end, but transforms into a promise of return, a prelude to the Camino to Compostela.

Rural villages and viewpoints. Possible variant along Carnota Beach, depending on the tide.
3. Carnota → Muros · 24.0 km ● 6h 00′
From Sofán to Lariño and Louro, with lighthouses and panoramic views. Final descent into Muros.
You will enter Muros, settle into your pace and turn towards the inner estuary.
The Camino de Santiago along the Muros-Noia Estuary begins.
